Most series on BingeFlix stream in full HD, and the big recent productions, Shōgun, House of the Dragon and Stranger Things among them, in 4K on the services that offer it.
Data for a binge
An hour at standard quality uses about 0.7 GB, an hour of HD about 1.5 to 3 GB and an hour of 4K about 7 GB. A ten-hour weekend binge in HD is therefore fifteen to thirty gigabytes; on mobile data, the data saver setting in the service's app brings it well down.
The best picture
For a long binge on the big screen, the service's own television app over a strong connection gives the sharpest picture.
